PAVING THE FUTURE OF ACTS

The Artists Civic Theatre and Studio, Inc. (ACTS) would like to invite you to participate in an historical event in the life of community theatre in Lake Charles. ACTS is currently renovating its theatre building located at 1 Reid Street. The future plans of ACTS includes converting the current props and costume building into a beautiful large lobby while props and costumes will be stored in a separate building behind the theatre. These changes will offer much needed repair to this historic 107 year old building while offering more room for actors and patrons.

Additional amenities to the theatre will include much needed expanded restrooms for theatre patrons as well as separate dressing rooms for the actors, and new concession facilities.

The entrance to the theatre will include two walls, each covered in engraved bricks, with names of generous donors. The sale of these bricks will help fund these building renovations.

A brick order form is available for you here or you may obtain one at the Theatre or from any ACTS board member. The cost of the bricks is $50 for an individual donor (4" x 8" brick with 2 lines/14 characters per line) and $100 for a corporate donor (8" x 8" brick with either 4 lines/14 characters per line with a comedy/tragedy mask engraved above the company name OR 3 lines/10 characters per line (in a larger font) with a comedy/tragedy mask engraved above the company name).

This would make a great gift for any occasion and one that would be seen by the public for many years to come. Donors will receive a Certificate of Recognition for Participation and will be recognized in upcoming theatre newsletters and programs.
